Hi there!

I’m Patti Smith, Physical Therapist, owner/founder of
Westside Concierge Physical Therapy in Fort Worth, Texas.

I’ve been a PT for 20+ years working specifically in Sports Medicine and Orthopedics.

I played competitive soccer growing up, and that’s how I first learned the value of physical therapy, thanks to a torn ACL. From that moment, I knew I wanted to be a PT.

Even then, I loved the idea of having an active job and working with motivated, active individuals. I've spent my entire career working in sports medicine and outpatient orthopedics.

I’m a huge fan of all things sports, outdoors and travel. My husband, Wade, and I enjoy being active outdoors together, even hiking Rim to Rim (R2R) together at the Grand Canyon. When the need for speed hits, I love long distance running, including trail runs and ultramarathons.

I’m also a mom of sports-minded kids, which means I get to spend a lot of time watching and cheering too!

The best part of my job is building relationships with my patients, while helping them achieve their goals.

I would love to help you achieve peak athletic performance. Let’s talk about how physical therapy supports your goals.

How Westside Concierge Physical Therapy Began

Or as I call it, the “Westside Story”…

In 2020, we were all in the midst of a global COVID-19 pandemic. The world and how we interact with it changed overnight, and with this change came two major revelations for me:

1. I truly enjoy time with my family and sharing experiences with them.

I know this sounds odd; of course I like my family, but this was different. While isolation and social distancing were challenging, frightening times, my family had more opportunities than ever to grow together. We started a vegetable garden, built a treehouse, and started hiking.

Was it stressful? Absolutely. Were there difficult days, long nights, and tears? You bet. But I wouldn’t trade this time with my family for the world.

How do I get more of this amazing balance in my life?

2. Patients in traditional physical therapy were struggling immensely during this time.

Missed appointment times due to work schedules, juggling sudden at-home child care and education, even just the time it took to drive to the appointments.

It became increasingly difficult for people to take time to care for themselves, yet they needed treatment now more than ever as the overwhelming stress made injuries more painful.

Even when appointments were available and achievable, the lack of one-on-one attention made the whole experience less than optimal. PT patients deserve undivided attention.

I knew I could help in a very special way, and Westside Concierge PT was born!

For my patients:

More flexible access to care; focused, on-to-one attention; easier scheduling; convenient locations in our office or in your home.

For me:

More time to give each patient the time and attention you deserve, and more time with my family when I’m not working.

I want to help you achieve your health and wellness goals through physical therapy - in a way that is convenient and effective for you.

Give me a call, and let’s get you back to what you love!
